LEGISLATIVE BREAKFAST
We partner with the Waconia Chamber of Commerce and hold a legislative breakfast that includes House District 47A & 47B and Senate District 47. This event gives businesses the opportunity to ask questions about the upcoming session and talk about their priorities. Typically held in February every year.
CANDIDATE FORUMS
We partner with the Eastern Carver County League of Women Voters and hold a candidate forum for House District 47A & 47B and Senate District 47. This event, open to the public gives voters and chamber businesses the opportunity to ask questions of the candidates. Check back here for upcoming elections.
OTHER ADVOCACY & POLICY ISSUES
We partner with the MN Chamber of Commerce on state legislative issues that affect business. At the local level you can find the SW Metro Chamber supporting local businesses during road construction, holding business forums and encouraging people to get educated and vote during elections.
